I’ve been thinking about it for a while.. and tonight I have made a decision…

Ever since I graduated from university, I’ve been receiving information about teaching in the UK. Every year, I receive calls from them, and every time I decline because I wanted to work locally.

After much thought, I’ve decided to take the plunge and teach there next January.

It’s not like if I went there just after graduating.. I know what the schools there are like (at least the schools that they’ll transfer you to). In all honesty though, working in the tough schools would help me develop professionally.

Knowing my family and friends, they would be both happy and worried for me. But think of it this way.. If I’m still there in 2012, you’ll have a place to stay during the Olympics. ^.^

omg, that is HUGE aussie. I wish you the best of luck in preparing for this. This sounds like a typical aussie adventure. I’m already excited!!

I think the best thing for you to do is follow what YOU want. YOU are the important one here, its YOUR decision. People will tell you not to go and im sure you’ve had them tell you already, just brush it off and say its what you want.

Also, I’ll be at the 2012 Olympics, staying at your place… XD
