This has to be one of the funniest requests that I got from my YouTube account.

What is it about weird people and their creepy requests?

The other day, I received an email from a user requesting that I do a video for him. Normally I would consider it, but this email was really bizarre:

So I ignored the email.

The following day, I received the email again. I felt like I should say something since he sent it again. I told him that my internet connection was currently slow and would not be able to assist him with his assignment. If you live in the US and don’t understand Australia’s internet connection, it’s bad…

Anyway, after I sent that reply, I received another email:

“Why does he need a 3 minute video of my mouth and teeth?” I asked my friend.

He thought it was strange too.

So I replied. I suggested that for the person to ask family, friends, neighbours, local people, etc. so that he can get the assignment over and done with.

His response:

At this point, alarm bells were ringing. Was this guy for real??? And it was interesting how the time had changed from 3 minutes to 45 seconds. The way the email was written was also a bit sus. So I ended up blocking the guy.

..You’d think that was the last I’d hear from him, right…

Wrong…

I received that one morning. I hardly had sleep the night before. I started laughing and decided to send him a very nice reply:

No, I blocked you because I think it’s a bit weird when some random asks for a video of one’s teeth. Yeah it may be for an assignment, but it’s probably better for you to seek people locally so you can actually see their teeth rather than watching some video.

I don’t think the person who set your assignment would be asking their students to go to the internet and ask random strangers to show their teeth.

If this so-called assignment asks you to “ask a total of 20 people( 10 males 10 females ) of various ages and ethnic backgrounds” and you couldn’t find anyone who can show you their teeth so you can count them, I would suggest going through search engines and looking up teeth. Remember, google is your friend.

If my teeth were yellow I wouldn’t be smiling a lot in my videos. By the way, thanks for watching my videos. If you subscribe, you can see more of my yellow teeth. Who knows, maybe you’ll be able to count them as you continue watching.

Good luck with your teeth fetish.

So for future reference, if you have a strange request to ask me… think first before asking. If you think it’s a really stupid thing to ask a complete stranger, it probably is.

I had to do this video… XD

Haven’t done one of these in a while… So I thought I’d do one.

Last night, my head started to throb. No, not because I have a big head, but because I was getting a headache.

…So my head was like a balloon, right… Anyways, I went to sleep early-ish (10:30pm is early…), thinking that the headache would go away.

During the night, I was woken up by an acidic-like feeling in my eyes… No, someone wasn’t chopping a lemon on my bed…

Anyway, it started to sting… So I got up and dabbed my eyes on the towel nearby. As soon as I got up, I realised the trobbing headache was still there. After I “cleaned” my eyes, I tried to go to sleep… Keyword there is tried, folks… I started to shiver, so I added extra padding on top of me… (damn my thinness).

I was able to doze off for a bit, but ended up waking at 4am (an hour earlier than my usual waking up time). I laid there for a while, then got up and had a hot shower. I thought that taking a hot shower would break this fever that I started to feel.

It was my day off from work, and I had to visit the Department of Education and Children’s Services (DECS) office to hand in my updated First Aid certificate. It was the only time I could do it…

Big mistake…

When I arrived home, I was feeling faint… So I went and tried to take a nap (a nanna nap, as I’d like to call it… tho I would not classify myself as a nanna…). Until one of my siblings came home. The poor thing doesn’t know how to use the key to open the door… j/k

So then I couldn’t sleep anymore… so I stayed up, shivering and sweating at the same time… I don’t usually get sick, but when I do it’s a killer… I hope I make a quick recovery… and I mean quick, since I’ve got 2 and a half days of subbing next week.

Yes, I’ve had my soup… I took my medication… Will now get some rest.

Yes I know, what have I got to complain about?? I’m working in a job that I enjoy doing… I’m somewhat healthy… What is there to complain about?

First off, I do apologise to any of my readers who know me. If you personally know me, you would also know that I start to think about things that I shouldn’t (eg. morbid thoughts, etc). For those who don’t know, I have these rare depressive episodes. Not to a point where I might hurt myself, but I just start thinking about things…

I don’t normally post them… Normally I go and talk to those who know about it and they would help me think things through. Not sure why I didn’t contact them tonight…

Basically whenever the “death” theme pops in my head, I start to get anxious. There was that recent train accident, and a flash flood killing a family of 5 that probably sparked these random thoughts…

The thoughts are more about who (or what) I leave behind when I go… Did I make a difference in the world? That sort of thing…

Trust me, these thoughts happen very rarely and I do come out fine in the end.

In the past few weeks, I noticed that there have been a few things that are said about people. On most cases, they could be something that’s blown out of context or are not true. There was a rumour at the school where teachers have told me that a certain student screams very loud when she doesn’t get her way. Strangely enough, when I taught her she was fine when she didn’t get things her way.

Hmm… Then again, I’m good at keeping people entertained *cough*. lol

No, that wasn’t a rumour… :p

I thought I’d start a new category, where I post things that are bothering me. So welcome to the first of the series…

What is it about death that fascinates people? In the news today, there were reports about two friends committing suicide in Victoria, as well as two teenage girls murdering a friend just because they wanted to experience what it’s like to murder someone.

To give you an insight, here are links to the news articles:
* Police investigate MySpace ‘RIP’ – news article about two friends committing suicide.
* Girls ‘just felt right’ murdering friend – news article about the two teenage girls wanting to experience murder.

Now if you personally know me, you’d know that I am against the act of commiting suicide. It’s true that not everyone would be willing to talk to someone about things that bother them, but death is not the solution here. That’s just a way of fleeing from the problem, instead of facing them head-on and even overcoming them.

As for the one who murdered their friend, just so that they can experience what it’s like…. I don’t even know what to say to that… They knew it was wrong, but didn’t feel it was wrong at all. Neither felt any remorse to the friend they strangled. They did it to their friend… *sigh*
